Your questions answered
APA stands for Advance Provisioning Allowance. It is a sum paid in advance (typically 30–35% of the charter fee) to cover running expenses during the charter: fuel, food and beverages, port fees, marina charges and other crew gratuities. Any unspent APA is returned at the end of the charter.
No. In most yacht charters, fuel is not included in the base charter fee. It is paid from the APA. The amount of fuel used depends on the itinerary, distances covered and speed. Your broker will give you an estimated fuel budget based on your planned route.
Guest capacity depends on the yacht. Yachts are typically rated for a certain number of guests cruising (on deck and in saloons) and a different number of guests sleeping (in cabins). We will recommend the right yacht based on your group size and whether you plan to sleep onboard.
A weekly charter is a full week (typically 7 nights) aboard the yacht, with the ability to cruise, anchor and stay overnight in different locations. A day charter is a single-day experience, without overnight stays. Weekly charters offer the most complete experience and are our primary focus on the French Riviera.
Yes. All yachts in our selection come with a professional crew — typically a captain and one or more crew members depending on the size of the yacht. The crew handles navigation, service and all onboard operations.
From a base in Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Monaco or Antibes, a weekly charter can reach destinations including Corsica, Sardinia, the Italian Riviera, Portofino and more. Your broker will design an itinerary based on your preferences and the navigation range of the selected yacht.
Simply send us your request — dates, number of guests, destination and budget preferences. We will come back to you with a curated selection of available yachts. Once you select a yacht, we handle the booking process including contract and payment.
The charter fee covers the use of the yacht and crew for the duration of the charter. It does not include fuel, food and beverages, port fees, marina costs or crew gratuities — these are covered by the APA. Some charters may include basic provisioning.
